ARE YOU Pissed Off yet?
For everyone who took the time to call our list I have just one question. Did any of them tell you that the HB 1335 been pulled? When they were telling you they supported the bill – did they tell you that HB 1335 had been pulled? When they told you that if it got out of committee they would vote for it – did they tell you that HB 1335 was pulled. Are you mad yet? Do you see now why we urge everyone to join in this fight? We will be successful – I know it. But our success will come much quicker if more people join in the fight. Have I convinced you yet, that your participation is urgently needed? What else is needed? Tell me and the True Bluers who show up to fight for us all. We need to know.
Oh, by the way, don’t hesitate to let Delegate Carl Jackson know how you feel about him pulling this bill and why he will not be elected in 2022.
On that line, because of the HB 1335 news and the television interview, I would like as many people to come out as possible to stand behind us as we talk to the reporter. Bring your wheelchairs, walkers, hearing aids, casts, you name it, you wear it. Shaming the General Assembly should be part of our overall goal.
I was thinking of having some type of carpool from Graul’s to the press location. (it will be at the House building). If I can stomach Deb driving the SUV again, she should be able to take about 5 people in one trip. If we can get other volunteers to do the same, after everyone is hauled to the location, the drivers can get into Deb’s SUV and it will be the only vehicle that will need to pay to park. So, come decked out with your WE MATTER shirts, signs, streamers, etc. We have a permit, we are pissed and we are not going away.
